Payment Reminders - Band Fees
UNIFORM MONEY REMINDER
BAND FEES 2008
$100 was due on or before July 4
(This includes the $50 deposit most freshmen have already paid)
$100 due on or before Aug. 1
TOTAL FEE = $200* (Made payable to HHS Band Parents) *This does NOT include shoes, polo shirts, school instrument fees, guard uniforms, and other “personal expenses.”

HHS/HFS BAND Important Summer Dates 2008-09 (updated June 2, 2008)
NOTE: Additional sectional and other rehearsals may be scheduled as determined by the band staff, especially for color guard and percussion. ALL STUDENTS must have the appropriate shoes—cost $32
ALL STUDENTS must have the band polo shirt—cost $25 (extra charge for sizes 1X and up)—payable to HHS Band Parents.

Band Summer Information
Please be reminded that our first rehearsal is next Tuesday, June 10 from 1-4 p.m. in the high school band room. We will be working on music for our performance in the Hamilton 4th of July Parade. We may even go outside and begin working on our marching, so come prepared with gym shoes! Also, please bring your music lyres and flip folders. Percussionists should be sure to bring drum sticks. All other musicians should bring their instruments. If you need a school-owned instrument, let me know.
In order to have our band shoes in time for the parade, there will be a shoe fitting at 12:30 on Tuesday, June 10. The cost of shoes this year is $32. If your shoes are not ordered at this time, the company will access and additional $15 shipping and handling fee, so be certain to take care of this on Tuesday. All payments should be made to the “HHS Band Parents.”
You will also need a HHS Band Polo Shirt. This is ordered through the band parents and costs $25. These are in adult men sizes, so order accordingly. (In my opinion, they run large.) These shirts are the uniform for many of our functions, and are only available to student and band staff members. We will have an order for parent shirts at a later date.
To complete the uniform, every student will need a pair of black dress slacks (Docker style) and black socks.
More information will be coming soon regarding the specifics of band camp and the rest of the year.
We often need help from adults, so I hope that all of you parents, grandparents, etc. will become involved with the program. Volunteer forms will be coming soon…
