Hamilton High School
Absences/Attendance
Email This Article ... Printer Friendly ...

We ask all students to attend school on a daily and consistent basis. Hamilton High School attendance rate on the 2005-2006 Schol Report Card is 93.4%. Our goal is to increase our attendance rate to 94% or better. If all students strive for 100% attendance, we will succeed! MISSING CHLDREN ACT - OHIO STATE LAW AND HAMILTON CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT POLICY REQUIRES that parent/guardian "must notify the schol attendance office by 9:00 AM on the day a student is absent or tardy."

Student last name A thru K - 887-4827
Student last name L thru Z - 887-4829

If no notification is received you will be advised of your child's absence either by telephone, by the attendance monitor or by a mailed written notice. The attendance office will call your home telephone to report your child's absence. You must contact the attendance office if you wish to receive a telephone call at a different telephone number. Please note that students are allowed only six absences without a doctor's note for the entire school year. A doctor's note will be required for each additional absence. If your child needs an early dismissal, any person picking up a student requires proof of identification and must be listed on student emergency form
