Hamilton High School
NJROTC Receives Distinguished Unit Award from Navy
Email This Article ... Printer Friendly ...

Hamilton High Schools's NJROTC program has been awarded the Distinguished Unit Award for the 2009-2010 school year. The award is made in recognition of the outstanding support provided by HHS and the overall achievement of the NJROTC unit during this past school year.

The Distinguished NJROTC Unit designation is awarded annually to schools whose NJROTC program ranks in the top 30 percent of the programs in each NJROTC area. Competing units are ranked according to degree of excellence attained in administration, academic performance, military proficiency, community service and host school support, just to name a few.  Accordingly, Hamilton High School's achievement of the Distinguished Unit designation is directly attributable to the strong support and encouragement of the high school administration.
