2010 MID-OHIO REGIONAL DRILL MEET
On 30 January 2010, Hamilton’s NJROTC Academics, Athletics and Drill Team competed at the Mid Ohio Regional Drill Meet at Grove City High School, Grove City, OH.Hamilton finished a respectable fourth place overall against very competitive field of competition, including the always very good and winner of the event, Northmont High School. Fifteen schools were in attendance.
Highlights include first place in Academics, third place in Armed IDR, fourth place in Un-Armed IDR, fourth place in Inspection, third place in Armed-Exhibition, fourth place in Un-Armed Exhibition, second place in Athletics and a much improved Color Guard Performance.Outstanding Individual performances were given by Jeremy Lehman, Deziree Dryer, Jorge Flores, Samantha Rommel, Jerami Flores, Brandon Manczak and Damara DeZarn
The day ended with a tough Knockout competition involving over 400 cadets. Cadet Johnson took Second place in Armed Knockout, and Cadet Flores took Second place in Unarmed Knockout.
Congratulations to the Hamilton Cadets, Gunnery Sergeant McAlister and Captain Allison for a job well done. Hamilton’s placing at Grove City has renewed their drive for conquest and is helping prepare for the Area 3 Championships on 13 & 14 March 2010.
The HHS Cheerleaders are selling calendars featuring pics of several of the senior athletes. They will go on sale in mid August for $15. There will be a limited number available and we look to sell out quickly. These calendars are really neat!!!!
The Big Blue Footballs Team is selling the "Blue Cards" again this year. 100% of the funds go to the football program. Participating businesses include:
